TYRONE MCGRIFF - 1980

Tyrone McGriff, outside linebacker from Florida A&M, was selected #333 by Pittsburgh Steelers. He was the only final pick to decide not to attend Irrelevant Week. He played three years in Pittsburgh and came to Irrelevant Week in 1981 as Phil Nelson’s bodyguard. McGriff remained a friend of Irrelevant Week through the years.
